Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Defeats Pomona-Pitzer Football in a 25-3 Victory

In a full stadium and under the lights of the Pomona Pitzer Football field the Stags took down the Sagehens in their first game back. This was a crucial win to keep the Sixth Street trophy in the possesion of CMS after a win back in 2019. While this was a non-conference game the tension between the Stags and Sagehens was high as everyone was excited to get back to playing.

To name a few stand out athletes in this game we had Jack Grasberger, Holden Thomas, Joshua Martinez, Jacob Fenton, and Grant Braught. These athletes along with the rest of their team and the noise from the CMS packed stands led to the Stags victory.

CMS Football will take on Pomona Pitzer again on November 13th at 1pm for a home game out on Frtiz B. Burns Field. Come out to see the Stags take home the Sixth Street Trophy once again.
